Am 30yrs Born and brought up in Nakuru, Kenya. I grew interest in art as a young guy during my many visit to the Nakuru National Park where I used to express what I saw to my friends through drawings and painting. Am a contemporary realist painter using charcoal, pastel, and oil paints Am also Expressionist and illustrator artist. I draw inspirations from famous artist and best friend/tutor Bennington John. Sughi Alberto stands as the best in this field and I am inspired a lot by Him.
During my high school I used to do backcloths for my school although I did it against my parent’s wish who had great ambitions for me. I had to work hard and archive high grades so that they would allow me to paint during holidays.
After finishing my final exams I met Katie McClellan the director Kapi Ltd who was so impressed by some of my work back then and that’s how I got my First Job in a Full time Art Company. I learned new tricks so first that I rose to be the Head of Art department in a very short time. Then to new Designs department, where I was head till I resigned early this year, to be a full time painter. In my years at kapi my paintings exhibited locally and even internationally. I also did my managerial course, Computer and also attained Grade 1 in Painting and decoration.
During my free time I decorate utensils furniture and I do some interior designing. Art is my life and Life is nothing without art.
